ABOUT LINDA

Dr. Linda Openshaw is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Doctorate Degree in Social Work and 17 years of clinical practice in mental health and school social work. She held the rank of Professor of Social Work at Texas A&M University-Commerce, where she was employed for the last 19 years.  She has conducted couples retreats with police officers and their spouses.  Her practice approach includes goal setting to create growth and change.  Linda seeks to empower her clients to make the changes they want to make and to learn better problem-solving, emotion management, and communication skills.
