About ruth

Ruth serves as a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern working under supervision of Laura Pace, LPC-S. She has a Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of North Texas, and a Masters in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. She is working towards licensure in the state of Texas.

Ruth is born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She is a wife and a mother of two toddlers. She is actively involved in her home church serving as a community group leader. Ruth has worked with college students, as a campus staff worker with Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, processing through depression, sexual abuse, anxiety, relationships, and career guidance.

Ruth currently works with adults and adolescents dealing with any of these issues using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and focusing on the here and now. Ruth’s passion is to meet with people where they are at in their lives, hear their stories, and walk alongside of them as they find healing, hope, and growth. Counseling is a place where you truly face the raw reality of where and who you are. It takes courage and strength to come to a place of vulnerability in the counseling room, but those who are willing to be there find new strength in their story.
